Performance of Top 5 Travel and Local Apps in Russia - Q1 2022

During the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 Travel and Local apps in Russia showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:

Yandex Navigator from Direct Cursus Computer Systems Trading LLC experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $30K in the week of February 7. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 110K to 130K, while weekly active users saw a slight decline from 4.5M to 3.7M throughout the quarter.

Flights, railways, hotels by Tutu.ru saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, dropping from approximately 78K at the start of the quarter to around 36K by the end. Correspondingly, weekly active users also decreased from approximately 197K to 141K.

Aviasales — Сheap flights from Go Travel Un Limited had consistent weekly revenue around $7 to $9. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but remained within the range of 43K to 58K. Active users experienced a peak at 376K in late February, before settling around 306K by the end of March.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker by Flightradar24 AB saw notable spikes in weekly downloads, particularly in late February with a peak of approximately 155K. Weekly revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at around $4.8K in the same period. Active users saw a significant increase, reaching nearly 194K in late February, before settling back to around 82K at the end of March.
